Kathmandu, March 27 : CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and Home Affairs Minister Bal Krishna Khand had a meeting today. The meeting was held at Prachanda's residence at Khumaltar this morning, the Home Minister's Secretariat said.
During the meeting the two leaders held discussions on the contemporary political issues the local level election and the country's present law and order situation, among other topics. The government has fixed the coming May 13 as the date for the local elections.
The Home Minister called on the Chairman of the Maoist Centre, a major coalition partner, as the date for the election draws closer. The ruling coalition partners are also holding discussions regarding moving ahead by forging electoral alliance.
