Sarlahi, March 18 : A help desk has been established at the District Administration Office here in order to carry out medical examination concerning the Coronavirus. The help desk was established by the Bagmati Sewa Samaj Nepal.
Chief of District Coordination Committee Sarlahi Methur Chaudhary inaugurated the help desk on Tuesday.
Chief District Officer Mohan Bahadur JC said the help desk is expected to be useful to the service recipients, who usually come in large numbers at the District Administration Office.
The help desk screens visitors to the CDO office and refers to the district hospital in case anyone is suspected of carrying the virus. Three health workers have been deputed at the desk.
Meanwhile, 13 help desk have been established at various transit points with neighbouring India. The desk was established in joint collaboration with Indian authorities, the DAO Sarlahi said.
