Waling, Nov 4 : The Waling municipality has initiated a process for designating coordinators in its wards to deliver justice in a more convenience manner.
Kalpana Tiwari, deputy mayor and coordinator of judiciary committee, said the committee has designated ward coordinators to further ease the justice dispensation process.
She added the main objective was to make the justice delivery process more convenient by setting up mediation centres in all 14 wards of the municipality.
"We selected six each persons from 14 wards of the municipality and imparted them a basic training", shared Gurudutta Subedi, Chief Administrative Officer.
"Coordinator for each ward will be picked from among the training attendees for a six month tenure", said Nar Bahadur Poudel, law section in-charge, adding that the judiciary committee has issued notice for mediators to get enlisted.
The mediators who attended the 48-hour basic training could only get responsibility to mediate the cases once they are enlisted in the judiciary committee of the municipality.
