By Rajan Rawat, Humla, Mar. 17: The explosive products necessary for the construction of the Karnali Corridor have reached the district.
The construction works had been halted for some time due to the unavailability of the explosives.
Sundhus Das Lama, project chief of Hilsa Simkot Road Project, informed The Rising Nepal that the explosives were airlifted to Humla via the Nepali Army's aircraft from Surkhet on Tuesday morning.
"The construction works which had been shut in four sites of the Corridor will now be resumed immediately," said Chief Lama, adding that the explosion works would begin now.
The construction company had drilled holes on boulders a month ago. Due to the lack of gelatin, the boulders could not be exploded.
The projects at Chyachara, Simkot to Hekpa River, Bokche Gauda, and Dulli corner had been affected due to the lack of gelatin.
The project has informed that the explosion works would be done within one or two days in presence of the Nepali Army.
