Janakpur, Feb 16 : Chief Minister of Province No 2 Lalbabu Raut has extended best wishes to all the Nepalis at home and abroad on the occasion of Saraswati Puja (also known as Basanta Panchami) that falls today.
Stating that Saraswati Puja has been observed since the Vedic age as the light of knowledge, CM Raut has wished that Goddess Saraswati would bless creators, scholars, and artists with more energy in their respective fields.
In a message of best wishes, the CM has also wished that may those communities lagging behind in terms of education be inspired to gain education.
Saraswati Puja is being observed today across the country by worshipping Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, wisdom, art, and music. The day is also taken as a symbol of the advent of the spring season.
