Hetauda, Nov 23: State 3 chief minister Dormani Poudel on Saturday inspected the under construction Bhimphedi-Ipa road section and Nijgadh-Kathmandu Fast Track.
The two projects are being implemented by the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA).
The chief minister who reached Bhimphedi, Kogate and Ipapanchakanya, the north eastern parts of the district for the inspection, said a study was going on an underground route to be constructed by the State government.
During the monitoring of the Bhimphedi-Ipa road section, the chief minister said he was happy to see that the road was going to be widened and upgraded.
He presented the idea of using this road as an alternative to the Hetauda-Kathmandu route.
On the occasion, he insisted on the need of completing the 2.6 million-cost project within the given deadline.
The project that kicked off a year ago has to be concluded by the 18 months of its commencement.
