Rupendehi, Mar. 8: Chief Minister of State-5 Shankar Pokharel has viewed that International Women's Day could be marked as an awareness day against novel corona virus this time. In a message given today, CM Pokharel urged all not to organize gatherings and other programmes to stay away from the spread of the coronavirus.
He mentioned that the Day is inspiring one to the women to fight for justice and end of gender discrimination. "Women's struggles are notable in various political and social movements in the country. Awareness programmes are essential to end violence against women and gender discrimination," he stressed, extending best wishes to all women for peace, prosperity and happiness.
