Lamjung, Jan 1 : Gandaki province chief minister Prithvi Subba Gurung has inaugurated a monumental park (Palikastambha) constructed at Besishahar municipality-8.
The park was built on the premises of District Administration Office Lamjung with the financial assistance of Madhyanepal municipality.
Inaugurating the newly-constructed park, CM Gurung urged the general public to keep close vigil at the governance process of the local level – the nearest government.
Chief District Officer Krishna Prasad Sharma said the park was constructed to impart information to the service recipients and the general public visiting the District Administration Office.
He further shared that the park has demonstrated a modern Nepal with names of all 77 districts, map of Gandaki province, script of national anthem and national flag.
Madhyanepal municipality had constructed the park at the investment of Rs 700,000.
