Kathmandu, Dec 27: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Friday filed a case against Min Bahadur Bista, Assistant Health Worker of District Health Office, Palpa for his involvement in irregularities of the government budget of Rs. 234,000.
According to the CIAA, Bista did irregularities of the amount allocated as transportation fair for elephantiasis programme.
Likewise, the CIAA arrested Raju Shrestha, policeman of Area Police Office, Urlabari for taking Rs. 8,000 bribe with a condition of managing the transport of furniture easily. The investigation into Shrestha is going on, the CIAA claimed.
Tthe CIAA filed case against Aananda Keshari Pokharel, the then office head of Transportation Management Office, Rupandehi for taking bribe with a service seeker promising to provide a driving license to the service seeker.
Similarly, the CIAA filed a case against Laxmi Devi Shah, typist of Transportation Management Office, Dhangadhi for submitting fake academic certificate while getting job.
