Kathmandu, May 14 : The government of the People's Republic of China has provided medical supplies to the Nepali Army.
China's ambassador to Nepal, Hou Yanqui, handed over the medical goods to be used for responding to COVID-19 to the Chief of Army Staff, Purna Chandra Thapa on Wednesday.
At a brief handover programme held at the Army Headquarters, Ambassador Hou said it was her country's responsibility as a friendly nation to extend cooperation to the Government of Nepal in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
Army Chief Thapa expressed gratitude to the Government of China for the support to the Nepali Army at a difficult time.
