Balewa, Feb. 29: Chief Justice (CJ) Cholendra Shamsher Rana has said a five-year plan was developed by the Supreme Court to reform the judiciary, and it was entering implementing phase.
While inaugurating a newly constructed office building of Baglung district court here today, CJ reminded that the plan would also enforce the commitment he made in the parliamentary hearing committee before appointment to the post of CJ. He said, "No stone will be left untouched in case of reforming the judiciary for ensuring prompt justice to all."
He further said efforts were made to make all courts technology- friendly for smart work performance. The old files would be stored in electronic devices and audio- visual saved to make the courts' decisions acceptable to all.
The three-storied building was constructed at a total cost of over Rs 5.5 million.
