Ranjha, April 11 : A car knocked down three pedestrians near BP Chowk in Nepalgunj last night.
Chief of Banke District Traffic Police Office, Police Inspector Himalaya Shah informed that the deceased have been identified as Samina Idrisi, 65, of Nepalgunj-11, five-year-old Kasim Idrisi and Ali Idrisi.
He further informed that the car (Province 3-01-23 Cha 8481) had hit the pedestrians.
The card driver had taken all the critically injured pedestrians to the Teaching Hospital Nepalgunj.
The hospital had pronounced them to be dead after immediately after 15 minutes.
Police arrested car driver Indra Bahadur Thapa, 28, of Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan city-10 and started investigation into the incident, Shaha said. ---
