Saturday, he said that the recent developments call for moral education.
Stating that conservative education system cannot take the development of the country ahead, he stressed on the need for vocational and technical education. "Speaking in English alone does not guarantee quality education. Language is just only a medium," Sherchan added.
Chief of Pokhara Metropolis education department Ganga Bahadur Gurung drew the attention of the private school proprietors towards the government policy of at least 10 per cent scholarship to poor and diligent students.
