Karnali, March 17 : Body of seven-year-old Rajani Baduwal of Nimail in Aathbis Municipality-3 in Dailekh district, who drowned in the Karnali river along with her mother and three other family members, was recovered along the river banks near Asaraghat in Achham district.
Body of Rajani was found rotted tied up with a rope, said the police, adding that body of Rajani was sent to Achham for a postmortem.
On March 8, five members of a single family, Rajani's mother Suku, 35, Suku's daughters Rajani, Kalpana, 14, and Sarita, 11, and an eight-year-old son Lalit had drowned en-masse in the river.
Bodies of Suki, Kalpana, Sarita and Lalit were found along the river banks the following day. Last rites of the four deceased had been already performed.
