By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 20: A blood donation programme was organised on Sunday by Blood Donors Association Nepal (BLODAN) in cooperation with Nepali Congress central sports department and University Sports Association Nepal.
At the programme held at New Baneshwor some 31 pints of blood was collected.
Former Minister for Communication and Nepali Congress sports department chief Mohan Bahadur Basnet inaugurated the programme after BLODAN secretary Ujjawal KC handed over him a blood bag.
BLODAN has been organizing blood donation programme even in the recent difficult time of COVID-19 lockdown, prohibitory order and present time of high cautiousness so that there is no shortage of blood for the needy.
