Manang, Feb 28 : The blocked Talkhu-Khangsar road have resumed following the clearance of snow depositions allowing traffic resumption.
The road that was blocked due to snowfall one week ago was resumed with the deployment of a JCB and with the help of local people, people's representatives and police, said Chief District Officer Rabindra Acharya. "Following this, transportation and people's mobility have begun," he said.
Now with the resumption of transportation, supply of daily essentials and goods that was affected due to snowfall has become easier, he said.
A team led by CDO Acharya has been on a field inspection of the situation of local people affected by snowfall, said the district administration office. Similarly, the DAO has distributed warm clothing to the affected people.
