Baglung, Nov 14 : Tulbir Thapa, a resident of Malma in Galkot municipality-7, currently in Japan has donated Rs. 50,890 to the National Innovation Centre. The centre is led by Mahabir Pun.
Journalist Babita Sharma and banker Shiva Acharya handed over the amount to Pun at the innovation centre on Friday. Pun thanked non-resident Nepalis for continuing to support the work of the centre.
Along with the 50,000 rupees that Thapa donated on the occasion of his birthday, Thapa has also pledged to allocate Rs. 5000 each from his monthly income for the centre. I always wanted to help the Centre since I heard about it, Thapa said.
Thapa left Japan for Nepal nine years ago, and currently runs a restaurant in Nagoya, Japan.
