Doti, July 24: Bhimdatta highway connecting the seven hilly districts of the Sudurpaschim Province has been obstructed again.
Vehicular movement on the highway came to a halt as a landslide occurred near Gaira along the highway this morning, the District Police Office, Doti said.
Large rocks and uprooted trees that fell on the road along with the landslide debris blocked the highway at the place. Although the Road Division Office has employed a dozer for clearing the landslide debris, a problem is encountered due to large boulders and fallen tree trunks, the Police Post Gaira said.
Scores of vehicles and passengers headed for various destinations have been stranded at the place due to the road blockade.
