Myagdi, March 23 : Beni-Jomsom road section connecting Mustang district via northern part of Myagdi district would be closed for four days.
According to the District Administration Office, Mustang, the 76 kilometres Beni-Jomson road under the national pride project--Kaligandaki corridor - would be closed from March 27-30.
Issuing a notice on Monday, Assistant Chief District Officer, Jagadish Aryal, shared that the vehicular movement would be stopped along the road for four days as per the decision of District Security Committee for the upgrade and construction of road.
The Beni-Jomson road under Kaligandaki corridor is being upgraded in four packages. Construction of national pride project—Beni-Jomsom-Korala road project is started from 2074 BS at an investment of around Rs 6 billion.
The 110-kilometre Jomsom-Korala road is being gravelled.
