Syangja, Jan 22 : Locals of Belchour, Pakhichour and Jamune of Galyang municipality-9 in Syangja district are very happy with the construction of the Belchour Lifting Drinking Water Project. Now, they will get water at home.
The project was constructed at a cost of Rs 22 million, said Chairperson of Belchour Lifting Drinking Water Project Consumers' Committee, Nim Prasad Khanal. A total of 135 households have been benefitted from the drinking water project.
A 100,000 litre capacity water-tank has been constructed at the height of around 240 metrs from Kaligandaki river bank.
Galyang municipality provided Rs 2 million, Gandaki state government Rs 17 million and voluntary contribution worth Rs 3 million from consumers to construct the project.
