Bardiya, Oct 18 : The Bardiya National Park (BNP), which remained closed for long time owing to COVID-19, has allowed safari, adopting strict measure of health standard.
Travelers from the country and abroad were banned in the BNP since March 20 citing the coronavirus pandemic. Now, after people are allowed entry for safari, visits' movement is upped at Thakurdwara.
The visitors are however permitted for safari only in the route the BNP administration has determined. Only 60 percent passengers are allowed in the vehicle to be used for safari, while there will be no more than four in a group to roam in the park on foot, according to assistant conservation officer, Maheshwor Niraula.
There are 29 modern hotel and resorts inside BNP. More than 3.50 billion has been invested in modern hotel and resorts.
