Bhimduttanagar, Jan 9 : Bhimdutta municipality in Kanchanpur extended financial assistance of Rs 456,000 to Mahakali hospital for oxygen purchase.
Mayor Surendra Bista handed the assistance amount to the hospital for oxygen supply amidst a programme on Wednesday.
On the occasion, hospital in-charge and medical superintendant Dr Hari Krishna Shrestha expressed grateful to the municipality for the assistance and expected such cooperation in coming days as well.
Earlier, the municipality had provided financial aid to Kanchanpur chapter of District Red Cross Society for the establishment of blood bank.
