By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb. 13: Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal Syed Haider Shah called on former Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli at the latter's residence in Balkot, Bhaktapur today.
It was a courtesy call as part of outreach to political leadership in the context of strengthening Pakistan-Nepal bilateral relations, a press note issued by the Embassy read.
The Ambassador complimented Chair Oli for his immense contribution in the furtherance of bilateral ties during his tenure as Prime Minister. He also recalled his effort towards the revival of SAARC.
"The Ambassador hoped that Mr. K.P Oli would continue to contribute towards Pakistan Nepal relations as a "friend of Pakistan", read the press note.
Chair Oli thanked the Ambassador and expressed his desire to see the bilateral relations of the two countries flourish further, according to the press note.
