Kathmandu, Sept 5: Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development, Chakrapani Khanal ‘Baldev’ has been hospitalised as he suffered from high fever due to dengue infection.
Health condition of the Minister is improving.
Bomlal Giri, Minister Khanal’s press coordinator, informed that the Minister was admitted to Dhapasi-based Grade International Hospital since Wednesday.
Minister Khanal had his health checked up on Tuesday evening at Nidan hospital as he suffered from high fever and headache. The hospital had referred him to Sukra Raj Tropical and Infectious Disease hospital suspecting that the Minister may have been infected with dengue fever, and the hospital had on Wednesday evening confirmed that the minister had dengue fever.
The Minister was then referred to Grande Hospital for further treatment.
Press coordinator Giri said that the Minister may have been infected with dengue in Hetauda as he had been there on August 24.
