By Murari Adhikari, Dhading, Dec. 10: A 37-year-old mother of Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality-6 of Dhading has given birth to triplets at Dhading Hospital.
“The 37-year-old woman gave birth to three girls weighing 2,400 grams, 1,800 grams and 1,500 grams each. The delivery was done through a cesarean section,” said Bikram BK, information officer of the hospital.
The surgery was done by a team of gynecologist Dr. Anisha shrestha, Dr. Pujash Acharya, Dr. Sabin Bhandari, health worker Lekh Bahadur Shrestha, staff nurses Bimala Timilsina, Astar Tamang and Sarashwoti Malla.
The hospital further informed that the health condition of all newborns and the mother was normal.
