Chitwan, June 1 : District Ayurved Health Centre, Ratnanagar, Chitwan, has brought a 20-bed Ayurved isolation centre into operation at Shivanagar, Bharatpur.
The isolation centre is run with an objective of increasing immunity power of corona virus infected people with the help of herbs, yoga, meditation as well as healthy food and lifestyle.
A target has been set to carry out treatment of symptomatic corona virus infected people using ayurvedic medicines. Mayor of Bharatpuer Metropolitan City, Renu Dahal, and Chief District Officer, Premlal Lamichhane, inaugurated the centre at the construction site of proposed Provincial Ayurved Hospital on Monday evening.
On the occasion, Mayor Dahal said that around 500 coronavirus infected people underwent treatment through naturopathy in the first wave of coronavirus.
The isolation centre also provides oxygen therapy.
