Nepalgunj, April 17: Fifteen Nepalis who returned home via the Jamunaha transit from India have tested positive to Corona virus. The confirmation was made through an antigen test carried out of those who returned on Friday.
All the infected are men, who came back from Punjab, Maharashtra and Gujarat of India, said chief of the health unit of Nepalgunj sub-metropolis Ram Bahadur Chand. Of them, six are from Banke, four from Dailekh, three from Bardia and one each from Rolpa and Surkhet.
In Banke alone, 199 persons tested positive to Corona Virus on Friday, according to Corona focal person of Banke Tej Oli. The tests were carried out in Nepalgunj medical college, Bheri hospital and Bageswar laboratory.
