Banepa, Oct 21 : A 15-bed hospital is to be established at Roshi rural municipality-1, Falamesanghu.
The 38th meeting of the Roshi municipal executive on Sunday took the decision in line with the constitutional provision mandating each local government to establish a hospital up to 15 beds.
The rural municipality said they have put forward the idea of establishing hospital to provide service to citizens from near units.
"We decided to establish the 15-bed hospital at ward-1, Khaharepangu, Famalesanghu so as to render health services to the people belonging to remote and backward areas in an accessible manner", said Dal Bahadur Lama, chairperson of the rural municipality.
The decision has opened up ways for economic process for the establishment of the hospital, Lama added.
He further informed that the rural municipality will initiate consultation with federal, state and local government to take ahead the construction of hospital building. ---
