Kathmandu, Feb 2 : A total of 113,175 individuals were vaccinated from Covishield vaccine against Covid-19 on Monday, the sixth day of the vaccination drive.
Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Prof Dr Jageshwor Gautam said that 15,329 people were vaccinated in Province 1 while 15,024 in Province 2 and 40,272 individuals were vaccinated in Bagmati Province on Monday.
Similarly, a total of 13,922 people in Gandaki Province, 14,640 in Lubmini Province, 6,131 in Karnali Province and 7,857 people in Sudur Paschim Province received the Covishield vaccine.
Provided by the Indian government in grant assistance, the vaccine is being given to the health workers and others frontline workers from 191 inoculation centres.
As only four days are left for the first phase of the vaccination, the ministry has urged all selected ones to receive the vaccine.
