Kohalpur, March 29 : Duduwa rural municipality in Banke district has set up an 11-bed quarantine at Betahani health post.
Health section coordinator at the rural municipality Dhan Bahadur Budha informed that in addition to the establishment of quarantine, massive public awareness was launched to contain the possible outbreak of the coronavirus. He also shared the information that efforts were on to establish quarantines at Hirminiya of Ward No 6 and Kamdi of Ward No 4.
The people are often urged with public announcement to not leave home and maintain personal hygiene and sanitation, according to Narendra Kumar Chaudhary, Chairperson of the rural municipality.
Similarly, 2700 households at Ward No 18 of Nepalgunj sub metropolis have been distributed face masks and soap.
