By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 20: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Sunday confirmed 10 COVID-19 related deaths.

"As many as 10 persons, six females and four males, succumbed to the novel coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours," revealed the daily report released by the MoHP today.

A 76-year-old male of Dhanusa, three females aged 40, 60 and 63 and an 82-year-old male of Kathmandu, a 75-year-old female of Lalitpur, a 72-year-old female of Bhaktapur, an 80-year-old male of Chitwan, a 67-year-old male of Rupandehi and a 40-year-old female of Palpa, who were infected with the novel coronavirus, died while receiving treatment at various health facilities across the nation.

With this, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has reached 411 and the death rate stands at 0.64 per cent.
