By Chandra Pandak, Taplejung, Jan 21: flights to Taplejung got disrupted owing to heavy snowfall in the Suketar Airport on Friday, according to the civil aviation authority here at the airport.
Lokendra Limbu, station in charge of Nepal Airlines Corporation in Taplejung, informed that snow has piled up in the Sukatar airport, situated at an altitude of 2,400 meters, disrupting the flights.
NAC has been operating Taplejung-Kathmandu flights three days a week.
Similarly, Shri Prasad Khadak, contact person of Sita Airlines in Taplejung, shared that the Airline's flights to Taplejung were disrupted due to heavy snowfall.
