Kathmandu, July 20: The government has sought applications from people for employment opportunities.
The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security has written to all 753 local levels to collect names of unemployed people in this regard, said Krishna Poudel, section officer at the Prime Minister Self-Employment Programme.
Aspiring people can apply for registration at the employment service centre at local level from July 23 to August 23. The selected applicant is bound to work at the area as directed by the centre in line with Clause 21 of the Right to Employment Act, 2075.
In case the centre fails to provide job opportunities to the selected applicants, a selected person as per Clause 22 of the Act is entitled to 50 percent of the amounts tantamount to 100 days of minimum salary.
