Baitedi, Aug 28: Bijaya Bhat, a member of the youth association, who was seriously injured after falling off a cliff, has died while undergoing treatment. Bhat, 30, of Damarkholi in Dasharathchanda Municipality-5 died at the Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi on Friday, said Police Inspector Darshan Khadka.
Bhat had fallen off a cliff at Kaluwad on the way home from the district headquarters on Thursday evening.
The injured Bhat was referred to Dhangadhi early morning on Friday after he was could not be treated at the district hospital. He died at the Maymetro Hospital in Dhangadhi on Friday, police said. He is survived by his wife and a son.
