They are also the key in the process of national governance. History has proved that a country has a unified, safe and stable situation, which is what the masses yearn for. There are many ethnic minorities in the border areas of China, and the territory is vast. Because there are many ethnic groups, the ethnic beliefs are also quite diverse. Border areas have diverse terrain and they border with many countries. It is self-evident that border security and stability plays a vital role in maintaining national unity.

General Secretary Xi Jinping, also President of the People's Republic of China, has always attached a great importance to consolidating and developing China's border areas and maintaining their security. The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) adopted many new ideas and new instructions for the development of border governance. General Secretary Xi Jinping made an important exposition on frontier governance at the Fifth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee, clearly pointing out that we should actively respond to the challenges of overseas risks in frontier governance, that we must carry out multi-dimensions in frontier governance, and that when dealing with frontier governance issues, we should draw on traditional Chinese inclusive culture. It inherits excellent frontier governance methods and gives full play to the advantages of traditional culture. At the same time, we should also absorb excellent western culture with a modest and open attitude when we carry out frontier governance so that the development strategy of frontier governance can conform to the characteristics of our times, and can also make certain theoretical contributions to other countries in frontier governance, provide some practical experience for reference, and show China's inclusive and open characteristics vividly. In discussing frontier governance, General Secretary Xi Jinping showed that the unity of nationality and inclusiveness is the essential characteristic of frontier governance culture.

In today's new era of social environment, the problem of frontier governance should be based on the traditional inclusive culture of the Chinese nation. The frontier governance has excellent traditional inclusive culture nourishment. The national essence of frontier governance should also be displayed. China's history and culture is broad and profound. And the Confucian school put forward the "harmony" culture. Chinese civilization has 5000 years of history, and this symbiotic and complementary inclusive culture provides a spiritual bond for it.

China's border areas are rich in resources and have a wide range of land. But because of the lack of effective border management program, some of them have been in economic poverty.
