Kathmandu, Feb. 24: A writ has been filed in the Supreme Court against the impeachment of Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana as a constitutional writ.
Supreme Court spokesperson Bimal Poudel said that two writ petitions have been registered against the impeachment. He said that one writ has already been registered and another is in the process of being registered.
Advocates Punya Khatiwada, Deepak Mishra, Trilok Bikram Chand and others have filed a constitutional writ against the impeachment.
