By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 26: Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that it was not acceptable for them to treat people as slaves.
Chair Nepal said so while expressing best wishes addressing the inaugural session of the eighth General Convention of the CPN (Maoist Center) here today.
"No matter in which party we are, we should raise the flag of nationality. We should all be one to hold a high nation's self-respect. There is no reason to disagree in the question of nationality," he said, "We do not accept plots to make people slaves in the name of nationality. We reject the tyranny of any individual and lineage."
He said the progress of the country is only possible by safeguarding self-esteem and value. "We all should focus on ending inequality. Injustice is still prevalent in Nepali society and we have to focus on ending it."
