Pokhara, Nov 30 : Voting for the vacant post of House of Representatives in Kaski constituency no. 2 has kicked off at 7:00 am this morning. Voting began as per schedule in all the 82 polling booth of 32 voting centre in the constituency, Chief of District Election Office, Kaski Mahendra Raj Subedi said.
People have been queuing up since early morning in all the voting centres to vote for their respective candidate.
Meanwhile, security measures have been tightened in and around the polling centres. Kaski constituency no. 2 falls in ward no. 11 of Pokhara Metropolis. A total of 71,871 voters are eligible to vote.
The position of HoR member from this constituency fell vacant after then Member of Parliament Rabindra Adhikari, also Federal Tourism Minister, died in a helicopter crash.
