Kathmandu, Oct. 14: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said that the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping had ushered in the historical and strong relations between Nepal and China to a new era. In her tweet on Sunday, she also expressed gratitude to her Chinese counterpart for his goodwill and support to Nepal and its people.
Likewise, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has termed the visit ‘a huge success’. “The two-day visit of the Chinese president has concluded with a grand success and the relations between the two countries have achieved new height and dynamism,” he said in a tweet on Sunday.
In another tweet, he expressed gratitude for Xi’s goodwill and good wishes. He also thanked Nepali people for their support to make the visit a success in an unprecedented way.
