Kathmandu, Nov. 14: Assistant Secretary of State of the United States of America for South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu is visiting Nepal on November 17.
He will hold meetings with Prime Minister She Bahadur Deuba and government leaders, Department of State said in a statement on Saturday.
Lu will come to Nepal after concluding a two day visit to Maldives on 15-16 November. Further details of his visits and deliberations are not disclosed.
His visit to Nepal is happening after Vice President of Compact Operations of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Fatema Z. Sumar visited Nepal in early September this year to facilitate the implementation of the MCC’s Nepal Infrastructure Programme.
