Pokhara, Oct 20: Chief Minister of Gandaki state, Prithvi Subba Gurung, said on Sunday that effort to bring all together to build prosperous Nepal was necessary.
At a programme organised by Federation of Nepali Journalists, Gandaki state, on the occasion of different festivals including Dashain and Tihar, Chief Minister Gurung said that the positive works carried out by the government have not been publicized and media have not given much space to good works of the government.
Saying federalism is in the phase of implementation, he expressed the view that media persons should help in a positive way to implement the federalism.
He also complained that implementation of federalism has still become difficult due to centralized mind set of the federal government.
The Chief Minister stressed the need of forming a high-level political taskforce for the implementation of federalism. Saying rule of law has been established in the country, he urged media persons to write against evils and aberrations and corruption taking place in the society.
Similarly, Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning of Gandaki state, Kiran Gurung, Gandaki state President of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Sanjeev Bahadur Koirala, Central member of FNJ, Ram Krishna Gyawali, among others also put their views on the occasion.
