By Lucky Chaudhary, Kathmandu, Nov. 26: Chairman of CPN (UML) KP Sharma Oli has claimed that his party will be the largest political force through the upcoming elections.
Chair Oli said so while addressing the inaugural session of the 10th general convention of his party at the Narayani Riverbank in Chitwan today.
He said the UML has already initiated preparations for the election and the campaign to welcome people to his party. He even claimed that former combatants will be managed after the convention and that many former combatants were ready to enter the UML party.
Chair Oli, also former Prime Minister, said the UML government which will be formed after the election will carry out development works.
He said the UML was committed to safeguarding Nepal's national independence and that it is for conducting international relations on the basis of mutual interest and benefit.
The former Prime Minister vowed to take back Nepali territory such as Limpiyadhura and Kalapani through dialogue. "We are for resolving problems through dialogue and not for enmity with the neighbours," he said.
