By Deepak Gyawali, Butwal, Apr. 12: Two patients infected with the SARS-CoV-2 who were under treatment a the Corona Special Hospital in Butwal have succumbed to the virus infection.
A 71-year-old woman of Tilottama-1 in Rupandehi district and another man aged 43 from Sworgadwari-9 in Pyuthan district died of the virus, according to the hospital.
Dr. Bishnu Gautam, spokesperson of the hospital, said the woman was admitted to the hospital on April 5 when she was found infected and that the PCR report of the man who died was found positive on March 23 and then he was also admitted to the hospital.
Seven COVID-19 patients are currently under treatment in the hospital.
