Sindhupalchowk bus accident
By Bidur Acharya/Chitra Mijar, Chautara, Aug. 25: Two passengers have been killed and 40 injured in a bus accident at Thapagaun of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality -3, Sindhupalchowk, Wednesday morning.
According to Dakshya Kumar Basnet, Information Officer of District Police Office, Sindhupalchowk, the deceased were identified as Rajan Watan, 40, of Thulodurlung, Lalitpur and one male of around 22 years.
Kathmandu bound bus (Ba 3 Kha 8030) from Thokarpa of Sindhupalchowk met with an accident at 11:30 AM and fell down some 40 meters from the road.
19 injured passengers have been receiving treatment at the Sindhu Sadabahar Hospital in Khadichaur, 20 receiving treatment at the Dhulikhel hospital and one is receiving treatment at the Madhyapur Thimi hospital.
