Kathmandu, Dec. 16: The Rising Nepal is entering the 57th year of its publication on Thursday. The daily was launched on December 16, 1965 as the first broadsheet English daily of Nepal.
The daily has served the valued readers by disseminating news and views in a fair manner for 56 years and is committed to continue its service in the years to come. On the occasion of the completion of 56 years of its publication, the daily has published an 8-page special pull out.
This daily expresses its gratitude to all the valued readers, contributors and advertisers for their cooperation to continue its publication with the same zeal that it enjoyed when its first issue was published 56 years ago.
