Surkhet, Nov 30 : The District Police Office, Surkhet has arrested three persons in possession of two kilograms of marijuana. They were arrested from a hotel in ward no. 10 of Birendranagar municipality on Friday.
Tulasa Shahi,53, of Birendranagar-12, Naina Shahi,49, of Tatopani rural municipality-7 and Naina Bahadur Shahi,42, of Junichandi rural municipality-9 were arrested with the banned narcotics, Superintendent of Police Dilli Raj Pant at the Office said.
Police carried out a raid in the Dipchandra hotel on Friday afternoon, where the accused were arrested from the third floor of the hotel. Necessary investigation into the case is under way, police said.
