By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 28: Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has termed the attack over doctors and nurses working in the Nepalgunj-based Bheri Hospital as shameful.
Issuing a statement, Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari, joint spokesperson of the MoHP, said that it was shameful to attack health professionals in their workplace despite the fact that they have been working in line with their professional dignity at this critical period of COVID-19 pandemic.
The Ministry said there would be zero tolerance on the culprits involved in the attack and that such activities would be punished as per COVID-19 Crisis Management Ordinance 2078 and other related laws and regulations.
