Chitwan, Nov 25: Chairman of Ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', said on Monday that the incumbent government would protect the national border with firm determination.
"The NCP-led government won't permit any forces to even touch the national border," he said.
In an election campaign at Bharatpur Metropolitan City-16 here, Chairman Dahal, also former Prime Minister, argued that the incumbent government was working to give a message of stability, development and prosperity in the country.
Dahal said another chair KP Sharma Oli will lead the government until the tenure of this parliament while he would work in the party.
Chairman Dahal claimed that the NCP would win at least 80 per cent seats in the November 30 by-election.
On another note, he condemned the Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba's remarks on border issues. He said Deuba's remark was irrelevant and objectionable.
