Kathmandu, Dec. 9: Many women are worried about obesity, but sometimes this obesity also opens the door to opportunity. Such an opportunity is ‘Super Plus Size Model Nepal’.
Targeting the plus size women, Model Songs Nepal – an organizer has already organized two editions of this contest in Nepal.
Women from 16 to 55 years of age, married or unmarried, can participate in this competition.
For this competition, the contestants should be clearly seen as a plus-size, weighing more than 55 kilograms.
According to the organizer, the selected participants will be provided about a month-long training on modeling from the popular choreographer Rojin Sakya.
The audition will be held in Kathmandu on January 9, said Debil Sing Rajput, Chief of the Model Songs Nepal.
The purpose of organizing this competition is to encourage, empower and spread a positive message in the society for women who have infertility complex due to obesity, said Rajput.
The winner of this competition will have the opportunity to represent Nepal in the International Beauty Contest -‘World Top Plus Size, 2021’.
In addition, the top three runners-up will receive various gift hampers as well as will be receive the opportunities to participate in various international fashion shows and beauty pageants.
The organizer has started distributing audition forms from December 6 – targeting to the interested plus size women.
