Kathmandu, April 13 : Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has requested all Nepalis to celebrate Nepali New Year 2077 as a year of triumph over coronavirus.
He in a message of greetings has requested Nepali sisters and brothers living at home and abroad to observe the New Year as a year of prosperity and sustainable development.
Referring to the infection plaguing the entire world, he in this message of best wishes said, "We should exchange greetings on this occasion with a resolution to defeat this pandemic."
"May we all get inspirations to defeat the virus and expand, develop and strengthen democracy alongside socialism-oriented policies, programmes and plans."
